Less than a month after agreeing to end filibusters against judicial nominees except under “extraordinary circumstances”, Democrats are blocking a vote on the nomination of John Bolton as ambassador to the UN.
What happened to the spirit of “cooperation”? Oh, I know: Bolton isn’t a judicial nominee, therefore the agreement doesn’t apply to him! How could I be so foolish?
