I have discovered, the hard way, that a green scrubber can scratch the finish on my Wusthof chef’s knife.
Dammit.
Otherwise, I’m very happy with the knife so far. I just touched up the edge with a steel after washing, and we’ll see how it performs. (The edge was getting a bit dull.)
I witnessed the following telephone exchange recently:
Coworker: “Why are being so emotional?”

I had a phone line installed in my new apartment today. Within two hours of plugging in my telephone, I received my first phone call… from a goddammed computer with “an offer for recipients of Medicare”.
