My computer’s power supply, an Antec NeoPower 480, failed last weekend. It is two years old, which means that it is still under warranty. I contacted Antec through their website and received an RMA number within a couple of days; the power supply is now on its way back to Antec. Fortunately, I still have the original 350w power supply that came with my Antec case. It’s a little under-powered, but it will get me by until a new/fixed NeoPower arrives from Antec.
I’ve been very happy with this power supply — the cable management system rocks — and I think of Antec as a quality company, so I’m a little disappointed and surprised at this failure. Hopefully their warranty service will come through.
Update: I finally got around to installing the replacement.
