I saw this headline today:

U.S. most armed country with 90 guns per 100 people
Reuters – 37 minutes ago
GENEVA (Reuters) – The United States has 90 guns for every 100 citizens, making it the most heavily armed society in the world, a report released on Tuesday said.

That just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Of [...]

What happens when a mass killer meets armed resistance? Surprise! The shooting spree ends. Of course, that shouldn’t be a surprise.

Many students heard the shots. Two who did were Mikael Gross and Tracy Bridges. Mikael was outside the school having just returned to campus from lunch when he heard the shots. Tracy was inside attending [...]

An excellent op-ed from a student at Virginia Tech, which describes the frustrations gunowners have with “gun-free zones”:

Please realize that I am licensed to carry a concealed handgun in the commonwealth of Virginia, and do so on a regular basis. However, because I am a Virginia Tech student, I am prohibited from carrying at school [...]

Walter R. Bishop, 60, [...]

Have you ever wanted to shoot that virus-ridden, evil-doing box of electrons on your desk, but had second thoughts? These guys aren’t bothered with things like “second thoughts”…
(Be sure to check out the movie at the end!)
Update: For those of us who are offended by the American flag burning that happens every time Newsweek publishes [...]

While at the range today, I noticed that the left grip panel on my Springfield Mil-Spec 1911 had cracked across the top. The right grip panel is showing a smaller crack in the same general area. The pistol has less than 500 rounds through it, so I am quite annoyed at this failure.
I will be [...]

From CNN, we see this:

ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) — A defendant grabbed the pistol of a courtroom deputy, shot the deputy and fatally shot the judge and a court reporter Friday at a downtown Atlanta courthouse. The suspect then fled into the streets in a carjacked vehicle after killing another deputy outside the courthouse.

It sounds like [...]
